    BUYING A HOME

  WHY A REALTOR

To buy or sell a house you need to put together a team that can effectively navigate the process. You are the most important member of that team, but a good Real Estate agent can help complement your strengths and help you make the right decisions. An experienced real estate agent earns his or her commission and can prove to be very helpful in all facets of the home buying process.

When buying in a fast moving real estate market, a good agent learns of real estate listings before they hit the general market and these are normally the best properties. When you sit down with a real estate agent and discuss your needs, type of area, style of home, amenities and everything you really want in your next home. Real estate agents can help you by accessing a Multiple Listing Service (MLS) which covers all properties listed for sale within a specific area. Together, you can select the homes you would like to see, set appointments and preview homes in a short period of time.

Many people go through the real estate classified section or browse the Internet to find a home that appeals to them. However, you can only browses the property from an Internet site or from the curb. A realtor has the ability to enter the property with you and take an inside look. The real estate agent will have many listings available that may be waiting to be published in the newspaper or Internet on a continuous basis. New listings come on the market daily.

An agent can guide you through the entire process. A good agent can always ease the way for you on legal and technical issues, which can be very expensive if not performed properly.
